Kitulo National Park, known as the “Serengeti of Flowers,” is a spectacular highland destination in southern Tanzania, famous for its colourful seasonal wildflowers, grasslands and mountain scenery. The park is home to unique plants, birds and wildlife, making it an excellent destination for hiking, nature walks, photography and experiencing Tanzania’s beautiful highland landscapes.
The best time to visit Kitulo is generally from November to April, when the wildflowers are in bloom and the highland landscape is at its most colourful. June to October is drier and suitable for hiking, although the famous flowering season is less prominent.
