Perfect safari! We had a great time to Ngorongoro and Tarangire park and everything was very well organized. We had accurate information and support throughout our trip. What ever we needed Zanzibar 2 Safaris where there to support us. Our guide Lid was excellent! Very friendly, kind and helpful. He provided many useful information and explanations for the animals, the places, the people within the historical and cultural context. Amazing experience strongly reccommended! he safari was absolutely incredible, and Joseph and his team made all the difference. Their experience and knowledge made it possible for us to see so many animals, including lionesses. We also had some truly magical moments, such as having a picnic in a beautiful valley surrounded by giraffes, baboons, zebras and elephants. But what I value most about the whole trip was Joseph’s incredible kindness and attention to every detail. He treated us like members of his own family and made us experience these safari days in a truly authentic way. I highly, highly recommend booking your safari with Joseph and his team. A safari is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and thanks to them, it was truly unforgettable for all of us. Incredible Selous Safari with Outstanding Service from Joseph We had an unforgettable safari experience in Selous Game Reserve. Our trip was organized by Zanzibar 2 Safaris Expedition, and everything was well planned from start to finish. We stayed at Selous Kinga Lodge, which was comfortable, peaceful, and perfectly located for exploring the reserve. The staff were welcoming, the food was excellent, and it was a great place to relax after our game drives. A special thank you to Joseph, who made the entire experience seamless. He was professional, responsive, and attentive throughout the booking process and during our trip. His communication was excellent, and he ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to simply enjoy the adventure. The game drives were amazing—we saw an incredible variety of wildlife in a beautiful, less crowded park. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and the environment, making every drive both exciting and informative. We highly recommend Zanzibar 2 Safaris Expedition, especially if Joseph is organizing your safari. The best safari in Tanzania!!! Our 4 day trip to Arusha, including Tarangire and Ngorogoro safaris was booked through Zanzibar2Safaris and I must say it was one of the best trips we have ever done. Joseph, the Managing Director did the planning and coordination and the trip was well executed by our guide Mishalu. Joseph was extremely professional and delivered whatever was promised and Mishalu was extremely knowledgeable, punctual, patient and very friendly. The prices were quite reasonable and the company ensured that our family was comfortable by providing us with a private car and everything was done to suit our schedule. We were travelling with kids and there was not a moment of discomfort during the whole trip. Tanzania Safari trip made memorable by Zanzibar 2 Safaris Expedition We booked our Arusha trip with Joseph and it has been very clear, professional communication from the beginning. Joseph has been very polite, helpful, kind, accomodating since the beginning. Right from picking us up at the airport to drop offs and 2 days Safari to Tarangire and Ngorongoro, their service was impeccable. Punctual, clean, friendly, polite, knowledgeable. Our Safari guide Mishalu was the kindest, politest, friendliest and nicest person. He made our Safari very interesting with his knowledge and was not at all pushy and gave enough time. My kids had lot of fun with him. Their Safari jeep was comfortable. They went out of the way to make us (we two and our 12 year old kids) comfortable, fulfilled all our requests for stops, helped with esim, currency exchange, everything. I would definitely recommend Joseph, Emmanuel and Mishalu from Zanzibar 2 Safaris Expedition for Tanzania trip. We will definitely do our Serengeti trip only with them. It did not feel like a tour with a guide, but more like traveling with a friend :) Our four day safari in Tanzania was so much more than just a trip through beautiful landscapes. It was an intense, educational and incredibly warm experience. From the very beginning Joseph impressed us with his incredible knowledge about wildlife and plants. It often felt like being part of a live nature documentary. What we liked most was that he showed us many small details in nature that we would never have noticed on our own. Through his explanations we were able to see everything with completely new eyes. This safari truly went beyond the usual experience. Joseph was not only focused on guiding us, he was also interested in us and our lives. He asked about how we live, how we think and what our perspectives are. This created meaningful conversations and a genuine exchange. It did not feel like a tour with a guide, but more like traveling with a friend. This personal and friendly atmosphere made the whole experience even more special. We had so much fun and laughed a lot. Joseph explained everything clearly, with great humor and passion. At the same time everything was perfectly organized. We started early in the morning for our game drives and still had plenty of time in the afternoon to relax at the pool of our accommodation. For us it was the perfect balance of activity, learning, discovery and relaxation. This safari was not just an adventure, but a deeply enriching experience on both a human and cultural level. A class and 5* service from start to finish. This review may be a little long but please take the time to read if you wish to have an incredible experience. I took my wife on a two day safari for her 50th birthday on the 19th & 20th February. We were a little nervous at first because of Zanzibar 2 Safari Expeditions being a new company with no reviews. However everyone has to start somewhere and given a chance. Rest assured anyone making enquiries with Zanzibar 2 Safari Expeditions you will not be disappointed. Joseph’s attention to detail, professionalism and communication are outstanding. My wife and myself had a week in Zanzibar before getting picked up on the 19th Feb (the wife’s 50th) at 04.00. You may think that’s incredibly early but believe me it was well worth it. Joseph was messaging the day before making sure we had all the information we needed regarding who was picking us up from the hotel and flight details. We flew from Zanzibar to Arusha where Joseph was waiting for us, it already felt like we knew each other so well because of all the communication. He then introduced us to Justin who would be our driver and guide for the next two days. From the airport we drove to Tarangire National Park. On route to the park both Joseph and Justin explained the days plan and what we were likely to see. Immediately after entering the park our breaths were taken away as we were greeted with about 12 elephants that just strolled straight past the jeep. We continued the game drive around the park constantly seeing different animals and taking spectacular photos. We then stopped at a picnic area inside the park were Joseph and Justin put on a incredible display of food for lunch. After lunch we continued with the game drive for another couple of hours before exiting the park and driving to our lodge that Joseph recommended. Manyara’s Secret Lodge overlooking lake Manyara. An incredible setting for my wife’s 50th birthday dinner. Joseph had us upgraded to the honeymoon suite and had arranged for us to have a private dinner on our balcony overlooking the lake. The food, staff and location were amazing. After dinner we met Joseph and Justin at the poolside where they had arranged with the staff to bake a birthday cake. All staff stopped there duties and came out with the cake and champagne singing and dancing around the table as a birthday surprise for my wife. This was one of many other incredible moments that day. Day two a 05.45 start with an amazing breakfast and back in the Jeep for 06.15. Next stop was Ngorongoro Crater a few hours drive. On arrival we didn’t think our breath could get taken away a second time but we were so wrong. Once again the abundance of animals in their own habitat was unbelievable to see with our own eyes after watching so many wildlife programs on the tv over the years. Justin and Joseph are both so knowledgeable about the animals and their habitat. We had a full day in Ngorongoro Crater with another outstanding lunch put on by Justin and Joseph. Once we exited the crater floor we were driven back to Kilimanjaro airport for our flight back to Zanzibar where I’m now sat on the hotel balcony writing this review and thinking of our unforgettable experience and memories that Joseph and Justin had helped to create and be part of. Both these guys are incredibly professional and made us feel so safe at all times. Please anyone reading this review and shopping around for a safari in Tanzania, don’t worry about the lack of reviews and the fact that Zanzibar 2 Safari Expeditions are new company. Both Joseph and Justin have worked for other operators in the past and now Joseph has taken the leap to start on his own. So be assured they both already have so much experience and just need tourists to give him a chance. Believe me you won’t be disappointed. Joseph and Justin I know I’ve thanked you so many times already but once again thank you for the wonderful memories. Until we meet again in 2028.
