Pick-Up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro & Park Activities

Begin your day with a morning pick-up from your preferred hotel, residence, or airport in Arusha, including Arusha Airport (ARK), or in Kilimanjaro, including Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Moshi Town. Travel by private 4×4 safari vehicle to Arusha National Park, located beneath the scenic slopes of Mount Meru.

Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed park ranger. Explore the park on foot, discover its montane forest and open landscapes, and look for giraffes, zebras, warthogs, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Your ranger will share insights into the local wildlife, plants, and ecosystem while guiding you through designated walking routes, with the duration and route depending on park arrangements and conditions.

Continue to the beautiful Momella Lakes for a guided canoeing safari, subject to availability and weather conditions. Paddle across the calm waters while observing waterbirds, flamingos when present, and wildlife along the shoreline. Enjoy impressive views of Mount Meru as you experience the park from a different perspective.

Take a relaxing bush picnic lunch at a designated picnic site before setting out on a game drive around the park’s lake circuit and other accessible wildlife areas. Look for giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, and a variety of bird species while enjoying the park’s diverse scenery.

In the late afternoon, leave the park and return by private vehicle to your preferred drop-off location or airport in Arusha or Kilimanjaro, bringing your walking, canoeing, and wildlife safari experience to an end.
