Morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi by your private driver-guide. Take a scenic drive across the Great Rift Valley floor to Lake Natron. Check in at your lodge or tented camp before taking a cultural walk to a local Maasai Boma. Meet a resident Maasai guide and trek through the Engare Sero River gorge, wading through cool stream waters to reach the hidden Engare Sero Waterfalls. Cool off with a swim in natural mountain pools.

In the late afternoon, walk along the soda shores of Lake Natron to observe thousands of lesser flamingos feeding beneath the shadow of the active volcano, Ol Doinyo Lengai. Enjoy an early dinner and rest at camp before your midnight climb.

Transfer at midnight to the base of Ol Doinyo Lengai, also known as the “Mountain of God.” Begin the steep, high-altitude night trek under the stars, reaching the active volcanic crater rim by sunrise. Enjoy sweeping views across the Great Rift Valley, Lake Natron, and the surrounding highlands.

Descend back to the mountain base by mid-morning, around 09:00 AM, and transfer to your camp for a hot shower, breakfast, and rest. In the afternoon, meet your driver for a comfortable return transfer to Arusha, Moshi, or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
