Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide from Zanzibar 2 Safaris Expedition. Drive to Selous & Sunset Boat Safari on the Rufiji River

After an early breakfast, depart Dar es Salaam and begin the scenic journey towards Selous, now part of Nyerere National Park. The drive passes through rural landscapes, villages, farmland, and areas dotted with baobab trees.

After arriving and enjoying lunch at your lodge or camp, embark on a sunset boat safari along the Rufiji River. Cruise through calm waterways while looking for hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and diverse birdlife along the riverbanks.
