Begin your day with a morning pick-up from your preferred hotel, residence, or airport in Arusha, including Arusha Airport (ARK) or Arusha City, or from Kilimanjaro, including Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Moshi Town, accompanied by your private driver-guide.
Enjoy a scenic 1.5 to 2-hour drive towards the West Kilimanjaro corridor and Enduimet Wildlife Management Area, with beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru along the way. Begin your wildlife experience across the open savannah plains, where you may encounter large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, and other wildlife moving through this important corridor between the Kilimanjaro and Amboseli ecosystems.
Depending on availability and your preferred experience, you may replace or combine the vehicle game drive with a guided walking safari led by an authorised armed ranger, mountain bike safari, quad bike tour, or horseback riding safari.
After the wildlife experience, enjoy a bush picnic lunch overlooking the surrounding wilderness plains. Later, continue to a local Maasai boma for an authentic cultural exchange. Meet members of the community, experience traditional dances, learn about Maasai pastoral traditions, explore traditional homes, and discover locally produced beadwork and crafts.
In the afternoon, begin your comfortable return transfer to your preferred drop-off location or airport in Arusha or Kilimanjaro, marking the end of your West Kilimanjaro wildlife and cultural day trip.
