Enjoy a scenic 2 to 2.5-hour drive through Tanzania’s countryside and Maasai plains before arriving at Tarangire National Park. Enter the park and begin your full-day game drive through one of Northern Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife areas.
Follow the Tarangire River circuit, an important water source that attracts large concentrations of wildlife. Keep watch for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and abundant birdlife while travelling through open savannah, seasonal wetlands, riverine areas, and landscapes dotted with iconic baobab trees.
Enjoy a packed bush picnic lunch at a designated scenic viewpoint overlooking the surrounding river valley. After lunch, continue exploring different areas of the park with your guide, following wildlife activity and taking time for photography and scenic viewing.
Continue wildlife viewing into the afternoon before exiting the park and beginning your comfortable return transfer to your preferred drop-off location or airport in Arusha or Kilimanjaro.
